Michael Perera is from North Attleboro, Massachusetts. He is now entering his last semester at Suffolk University as an Honors student and is on track to graduate with a BS degree in Psychology, a minor in Education Studies, and a TESOL-Accredited Certification.
He has assisted early childhood learning at the Museum of Science, Boston Children’s Museum, and a MASCO-affiliated child care center, and the following organizations: Asian American Civic Association, AliaRSE, Alianza por la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, and CEEDS4Change. He is currently working as an Assistant Preschool Teacher in Longwood and plans on pursuing his Masters in Education in the Greater Boston Area. He has been working with the Translanguaging research team since September 2020.
